Lithium ion batteries have a limited lifetime, and if yours is three years old now, there's a good chance it's in need of replacement. First thing to do is check the battery health using the Samsung Members app. Here's a page from the Samsung website about their batteries.
Galaxy Battery - About Battery
They give directions on how to check the health on that page, but here's the gist of it.
1. Open Samsung Members App and tap "Support" on the bottom.
2. Check your battery status through "Phone diagnostics".
3. Tap "Test all".
I'm not sure exactly what format the battery health information comes in on the Samsung app, but generally they're rated at the percentage of full charge they can hold. As batteries age, the amount of charge lessens, dropping from 100%. Apple recommends replacing batteries when they reach 85% or less, so you'll have to judge for yourself based on what number you get.
If your battery is below 85% or so, you should replace it. Unfortunately, iFixit doesn't have a guide to that repair on your phone, but the French site SOSav has just what you need. As you may guess, the site is in French, but if you use it with a browser that supports language translation like Chrome, you won't have any trouble and their guides are well written and informative.

Good luck, and be sure to come on back and let us know what you find and how it all turns out; your experience may help the next person who comes along with the same problem.
