Hi!
iFixit does not have a dedicated guide for this specific model. With a quick search I could actually not find a guide for battery replacement either.
However, based on the product image, I would bet that the batter is on the left side (or the same side as the charging port assuming it is on the left side).
Also by looking on the product image, I don't think you'd remove the cover from the outside, but from the inside by taking of the ear pad and thus exposing the screws holding down the speaker. By unscrewing these screws, you should hopefully see a circuit board and or the battery. Warning, when taking of the speaker, the motherboard will still be attached to thin wires!
These guides are not for the same model, but at least based on exposing the battery from opening the headset from the ear pads. See JBL Tune 600btnc Battery Replacement and JBL Synchros E50BT Teardown.
Please respond if my guesses were right, or how you solved it!
If you want, you could even take a few pictures and upload for a guide!
Good luck!
cheers!

Thank you for the reply . Unfortunately there is no coverage at the outside. The ear pad coverage inside can’t be lifted . So my understanding is that there is a shiny „ring“ outside (between mat outer body and ear pad), which has to be removed. But how carefully ? Thank you for your help
@mac31995 Hi! Thank you for your response!
I looked a little further, and I found this Reddit video on how to change the ear pads (tho for the M2 model, but they're hopefully similar enough) Replace Ear pads Tour One M2 - Reddit and thus exposing the inside of the headphone cup.
Then I'd guess you'd continue in a similar manner to the guides linked in the answer above, undoing screws and exposing the battery on the left side, but i can only guess!
Hope this helps,
Cheers!
Thank you, MeekVixen ! The video was helpfull, so I could open the ear pad . No I found the battery . It is fixed - probably glued to the case of the ear pad. I cannot remove it, since I do not want to apply to much power and to destroy something. Any idea ? Cheers again 🙉
@mac31995 By checking around a few guides of other JBL headsets, it seems rather common for there to be some amount of adhesive securing the battery to the headset (e.g. #1, #2).
If you don't feel comfortable pulling the battery, then you could use something plastic (e.g., an iFixit pick) to carefully slide between the battery and the securing surface if you have such access.
Alternately you could use adhesive remover or isopropyl alcohol to soften the adhesive (be careful of the contact part of the battery).
Additionally, if you are worried about swollen batteries, precautions to take and how to safely operate and replace swollen batteries, iFixit does have a wiki for that: What to do with a swollen battery
Hope this helps,
Cheers!
