replaced my iphone screen when just fine turns on. Guide here was really helpful; however, I have an "extra" part. Could someone please help me identify this?

Hello Bill,
What you left out is the protector of the Antennae Cable. That is not too much of a big problem although it would be helpful and better to put it on. You simply put it right under the top battery screw cover so that it will cover the Antennae Cable (The silver little circle) Let Me Know if you have any more questions. Glad to help.
