My battery keeps swelling

I have changed my iPhone XR battery twice now and the 2 times, my battery keeps swelling….1st one was about a month after changing the battery I noticed the swelling. 2nd is barely one week and I can see the signs my battery is swelling already. Could this be the case of faulty batteries or what else could cause it?
