Why does it leak water out of the bottom?

No water comes out of the drain but leaks around the bottom seams.

What is the model number of the air con unit?
Have you checked that the hose outlet inside the unit is not blocked preventing water from flowing out through the hose but that it is building up in the bottom of the unit and then leaking through the seams?
