@gomes39 sounds like you have a bad charge connector.. you can get a replacement connector at many online stores. However,, that will require the desoldering of the old one and then resoldering a new one. It might be a lot easier and better if you replace teh sub+-board that has the port already on it.

Since iFixit does not yet have a guide for this, use something like this video to work on it. Once you have the old board use the numbers on it to find a replacement at some online stores.

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
