Hi! This morning my tv screen went dim and then dark,when you flash a light on the screen you can still see everything but it’s so dark,do anyone thinks it’s the backlights? Please help. I’m so hurt behind my tv

@sheliajohnson this "when you flash a light on the screen you can still see everything" by itself is a pretty clean indication that this is a backlight issue. Of course you can always check the power board as well to make sure it supplies the backlight strips, ultimately I am certain that it will be the strips.
Not a terribly complicated job, but that will totally depend on what model your LG TV is.

It’s a tcl 55 inch and I priced the led lights and I was going to try to fix it myself .
@sheliajohnson absolutely. All you need to be careful off is that you have help lifting the panel. Not because it is heavy but because it flexes easy. You can do it !
