water damaged
My i-pod shuffle went through the washing machine and dryer. . . Then I charged it 2 days latter. It held a charge for a day then died. What do I do?

You should open a question on your own with details, to garner more answers. However, as old Turkey said, you should make sure your device is completely dry: small as it is, some droplets may hide in nooks an crannies. A Thirsty Bag, sold here, is nice to have around.
Once you're sure the device is completly dry, try to check if it wakes up by charging.
