1 Hp pavilion x360 15-bk003nx laptop has an overheating problem
It overheats even after vents and fan cleaning an new thermenal paste apply and buying a cooling pad and setting cpu maximum power state to 80% on battery and plugged in and always run the note book on balanced or best battery life or it will overheat and shutdown when I set it to best performance
It has i76500u and NVIDIA GeForce 930m

How did you verify that it is an overheating problem that is shutting down the laptop and not something else?
Does it happen when starting the OS in safe mode or if you get into BIOS on startup and let it sit there doing nothing
Check in Event Viewer for any Critical, Error or Warning events that may be logged at the time that the laptop shuts down.

Mine did this once but I usually turn it off when I smell it melting
