"double vision" is usually caused by the main board followed by the T-con board. T-con board. since your display is still visible, try to access the Self-Check Diagnosis History.

VIEWING THE SELF CHECK DIAGNOSIS HISTORY
When an error is detected, the Self Check screen records the number of times the error occurred. This is helpful in confirming past occurrences of an error and for determining if an error is intermittent when the customer is not sure what is causing the television to shut down. If the screen displays a “0”, no error has occurred.
1. Press POWER to turn on the TV and then turn it off again.
2. Press the following buttons on the Remote Commander within 1 second of each other:
DISPLAY==> Channel 5==> Volume - ==>POWER

Once it shows you the history, take a picture of that and post it with your Question. That might give us a hint.

Since this becomes more visible when your TV has been on for a few minutes, this could be a Video processing IC error on the main board. Check that for excessive heat.

It will be helpful if we can see your circuit boards. Unplug the TV and remove the back cover. Than take a well focused picture of the complete setup. After that a couple of good pictures of the boards.

In the meantime the only other thing I can offer is the service manual for the model. It is a RB1G chassis and here is the manual. It is written in Spanish but I do hope that it will still help you.
