dash lighting very dim
Although the dash light switch is fully on the dash is very dimly lit at night, what do I do or what can I check next ?

If there is no change in brightness when you turn the dash ligh brightness controller, you can check the switch with a multimeter and see if the potentiometer makes any difference in resistance. Make sure you have good 12 volts going into the switch.If so, roll the switch and check voltage at the other side.It should increase and decrease as you move the switch.If that is ok, it is possible that you have bad dash cluster. Right now I would think that your problem is related to the light switch and a replacement might be in order. Attached image will show you how to test it. Hope this helps, good luck
