I keep getting E2 error code, how do I reset the machine?

I have a GE portable washing machine, model GNW128PSMWW. I keep receiving error code E2. Any idea what could be causing this? Do I need to reset machine? If so how?

According to the mini manual an E2 error code may indicate a problem with the lid switch part # WH12X26878 or the switch magnet (supplier example to show location of the switch).

If it is the problem search online using the part number only to find suppliers that suit you best.

If the switch and magnet are OK, the manual describes what else to check.
