1 My MSI Monitor doesn’t receive any input from a DP cable. (Fixed)
MSI gaming monitor: G27CQ4P E2
The power cable and DP cable have been plugged in properly but there is still no input.

@randopando have you tried the monitor on another device? OR have you tried a different monitor on the device where you connect the MSI monitor to? That way you can rule out the device it is plugged into as the culprit.

@oldturkey03 my old monitor worked perfectly fine but I dont have any other devices to connect the new one to.

Just to clarify, was the old monitor connected to a DP port on the PC?
Have you tried the HDMI connection if possible?
With the new monitor can you view the monitor's menu screens OK?

It’s been fixed with a HDMI cable.

If your PC has a known working DP port but the monitor doesn't work using DP then if the monitor is brand new, take it back as it doesn't fully work.
Why pay for something that doesn't do everything it should?
