My bottom freezer ice maker is not fully freezing the ice cubes before ejecting. This dumps partial cubes and water which the. Instantly freeze into a massive iceberg. Before this, they were ejecting ice shards and shattered cubes. Refrigerator is just over 1 year old. Filter is 3 months old.

Check if the temp in the icemaker compartment is at least 1°F. If the temp is not low enough the ice won't be fully frozen when it is dumped into the bin.

Checked your owner's warranty? It may be under warranty for free repairs. Some manufacturers have two warranties; one for electronics, one for the sealed refrigeration system (usually a longer warranty). Check online and use your model and serial number for factory warranty service.
