20CD00B1US model and I'm trying to find out exactly what type of m.2 SATA SSD my Lenovo ThinkPad yoga S1 takes exactly so I don't buy the wrong one because the user manual doesn't tell you exactly what kind?

Looking at the parts list for your model (Yoga Laptop (ThinkPad) - Type 20CD - Model 20CD00B1US) the M.2 SSD is a M.2 sata 2242. Click on Machine Type > Select Commodity to find the M.2 listing
Here's the hardware maintenance manual that may also help.

See I don't know which one it is all I know is it's a 20CD000b1us model core i7 4600u

I could only find b+m key msata ssd will that work?
An msata SSD will not work in an M.2 sata socket.
There seem to be plenty of M.2 2242 SSD suppliers (examples only) when you search for them.
Just to avoid any confusion the laptop can support 2 storage drives.
There is a 2.5" sata connection (see p.62 of the hardware maintenance manual linked above) in which a 2.5" sata SSD (examples only) is installed or a sata HDD can be installed) and is usually the main storage and operating drive i.e. the only drive installed and there is also an M.2 port (see p.67 of the maintenance manual linked above) on the motherboard where an M2.2242 SSD can be installed for extra storage.
An idea then is to have the Windows operating system + any 3rd party programs installed on the sata SSD (or HDD) i.e. C: drive and any personal data e.g. Documents folder, Downloads folder, Pictures folder, Video folder etc located on the M.2 SSD secondary storage drive i.e. D: drive or any letter you prefer to use e.g. F: or G: etc
