The battery is pulsing yellow and red and it seems to be a battery connection issue but any other thoughts? I haven’t bought it yet but I am going to buy it in hopes of fixing it. If not I could use it for parts.

The issue is likely an improperly seated/connected battery or a faulty battery. You may need to reconnect the battery, or you may need to completely replace the battery.
