False click then real click?

So I spilled a sticky drink on my g502, dismantled it, cleaned it up and put it back together, but now I have a false click when I press the m2 down, and pressing it down further gives a real click, I’ve already tried seeing if it needs to be cleaned more or if something looks wrong on the inside, but it looks like every single normal g502 on the inside with no apparent problem, and it’s not to double click issue because the actual button works fine with no double click or hold
