Why is my computer wont charge when I plugged in
the charger works and all but the charger thing when i plugged in wont work?

If the laptop doesn't indicate that the charger is connected then it may be a faulty DC-In jack (part # L20475-001 (supplier example only.
Here's the maintenance and service guide, taken from this support webpage for the laptop.
Go to p.76 to view the procedure to remove the power connector cable (DC-In). You only have to disconnect the cable plug from the motherboard and then use an Ohmmeter (or a voltmeter) to test the jack for continuity from the input side (centre pin and outer ring connector) to the output red and black wires on the plug.
If the jack is faulty then it has to be replaced as it cannot be repaired. Search online using the above part number, to find suppliers that suit you best.
If the jack is OK then the schematics for the motherboard will need to be found, to find out what's wrong.

@baller1212 Do you mean that it will power the computer and let you use it, but it will not charge the battery? If so, first suspect is the battery itself, as they stop charging when they’re gone.
