Hi,
My Panasonic th-p58v10a plasma TV has 8 red blinks. I believe it may be the SS board that is faulty. Does anyone know the part number for this board or other items that may be faulty?

@broso 8 blinks means there is a power issue or possibly a bad connection on/to the power board.
Could you take the back off the TV and then take the power board out of the back to take close up and high resolution pictures and upload to your question following this guide Adding images to existing questions
My first step would be to unplug the power board and then reseat the connection, making absolutely sure the connections are fully seated correctly.
Note! Be careful taking the power board out as there are capacitors there that can hold a high voltage even after the TV has been plugged out for some time.

I can't find a service manual for your model but going on the premise that if most of the model number is the same then perhaps the devices must be very similar with only a few differences.
This image from the training guide for your model, gives the board numbers of the boards in a TH-P58V10A.
Note: The board number for the SS board is TNXSS1DPUJ. However this is not the part number for the board. The best that I can find out is that the part number might be TNPA4979. However when searching for this part number other SS boards also show up e.g. TNXSS1DPUU so you might want to check what is actually shown on the board either on a sticker or printed on the board itself.

This image is from the TH-P58V10M service manual which has a chassis number of GPF12DA. If the chassis number of your TV is the same then the TVs are virtually the same but maybe are made for different countries to suit their operating requirements.
If the chassis numbers are different then none of this may be applicable
It shows that a 8 blink error code can be either the SS board or the SS2 board.
