Hi,

Post an image of the problem in your question, so that it can be seen.

Here's how to do this in ifixit Adicionar imagens a uma pergunta já existente

Try connecting an external monitor (TV?) to the laptop and check what its display is like when the laptop's display is half black.

As I already explained, the screen acts like an engine which getting warm by time, I added pictures after a lot of tries yesterday to re-meet the problem but it acted so normal, this morning I caught it in my camera.

Yes but it may help to know if the same occurs or not to the display on an external monitor connected to the laptop.

That way you know whether the problem is in the display or maybe on the motherboard. i.e. if the external monitor is OK most likely it is the laptop's display, if the external monitor is the same and has a half black screen then it is the motherboard.

Hmm, I see, I must now wait a lot of time to have a change to get the problem again, but next time i'll attach an external monitor to check your suggestion and i'll get back to you asap.

Hey again, I attached an external monitor, and it just looked normal, so I guess the problem isn't in the motherboard

Hi achraf lamhamdi

Here's the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop.

Go to p.93 in the manual to see how to remove/replace the LCD panel. If the LCD panel is faulty it can't be fixed, it needs to be replaced.

This will also allow you to check that the video cable connection to the motherboard is secure etc, in case that is the problem.

If you determine that the panel is the problem, here's a link to find the correct replacement part.

Type Thinkpad T470 in the search box and then select your exact model variant (look on product info label on bottom of laptop to find model type). When you're on the parts page, click on Select Commodity > LCD panels to find the part number(s) for all compatible panels. Then search online using the part number only to find suppliers that suit you best. Usually the part number can also be found somewhere on the back of the panel if you wish to verify and get the same one.

Can't really go off of anything without a picture, it sounds like the display went bad. However to eliminate that it's not a software issue, try booting into BIOS and see if you can replicate the problem, as well as another operating system (maybe from a bootable USB)

Thankfully the T470 should still have removable bezels for easier display swaps, in the case that it is broken (and I believe the manual covers this)

I added pictures, please check them !

As I noticed that's not a software issue, because if the screen got "warm enough" and started to work normally, the problem won't be replicated even if I restart my laptop or close the lid, it start to work just fine
