My Sharp AQUOS TV gets fuzzy from HDMI input sources after about 15 minutes of normal operation. The native screen display (no HDMI input) appears totally fine and this occurs with all 4 HDMI inputs. What is the cause and is it fixable?

What is the model number of the TV?
Have you tried different HDMI cables, you didn't say?
Is the audio OK when using HDMI?
It may be a problem with the HDMI controller but whether this is on the mainboard or a separate board, then the model number is required. You could check by disconnecting the power to the TV and then removing the back cover and see where the HDMI ports are mounted on.
Is the display OK when using other input sources e.g. Component video, Composite video?

Thanks for responding. The model is LC-60LE845U. I've tried multiple cables and the audio is fine - just the picture is bad. I've now tried multiple inputs, and it happens with all -HDMI, Component Video, and even on channels from the antenna. But when you pull up the menu screens, the display is clear.

Seems like the video circuit section of the signal input side of the mainboard might be the problem.
The software which generates the menu display on the screen is stored in an eeprom on the mainboard so it doesn't need to use some of the same circuitry as the signal inputs e.g. tuner (for RF signal), video amp etc
Given that the Component video also has a problem this indicates that it is not just confined to a digital video signal e.g. HDMI but analogue as well as Component video is an analogue signal.
I can't find a free download for the service manual which may help but here is a link where you can purchase it if you wish to try to follow the schematics to see what may be wrong.
Hopefully the link is OK as I haven't tried it and that it is not one that wants more than just your money if you get what I mean.
