Changed the battery in my note 5 but scratched off some of the copper foil under the battery. I would say maybe about an inch. Do you think it will work? Should I buy something to replace it? What would that be?

its a heat and rf shield ur probley good just post some pics and u will know better man i mean its just a quick edit of ur question and insert a photo

Can you add a photo? It looks like it is attached to the back of the screen assembly itself and looks to be there for RF shielding and heat dissipation. I doubt it will hurt anythings s is,. But a photo. Would be helpful.
