The USB type C power entry on my controller has detached from the controller. I have a replacement USB port piece, but don’t know how to attach to the motherboard. Do you have any suggestions? Do I need specialized equipment?

yes, it would be, but I want to do it myself - that's why i asked. do you have any resources to help?
@lukeef there should be a teardown guide, better opening it up to see what kind of damage is done to the solder pads first
