Dog whistle chirp while turned off or on

Hi, my Xbox started making a dog whistle like chirp intermittently since two weeks ago. It doesn't matter if it is on or off. Once, I heard it make the noise when it was unplugged. Otherwise this Xbox is amazing and I have been using it for about 3 years now. What would cause this dog whistle chirp?!
