I bought a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 months ago and I’ve noticed these 4 white dots two weeks after that were probably present since I’ve unboxed it. Nothing has been done to the tablet and I haven’t used it that much. Does anyone know what these are? They seem to be in the top middle of the display horizontally.

Permanently white pixels are not "dead" pixels. They are pixels where all three colours i.e. red, blue & green are permanently turned on. Dead pixels are black.
Not that it makes much difference, black dot or white dot, as there is a problem with them.
It still may fall under the manufacturer's dead pixel policy but maybe four aren't enough or that their location is not considered as a problem I don't know.
Try wiping the cache partition in case there is corrupted cache data that may be causing the problem.
Try starting the tablet in safe mode just to eliminate the possibility that the problem may be being caused by a downloaded or updated app.
This shows how to screencast from your model to a TV, monitor etc and I don't know if this works,(I just searched for “Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 view on external screen”) but if you can try it, then at least you may be able to see if the problem may be on the systemboard i.e. permanent pixel on external display as well or just in the tablet's screen.

Thank you for your answer. I've tried everything you mentioned and the issue still persists. I've also mirrored the screen to my TV and the dots are not present on the TV display so the problem is probably in the tablet's display. I'll contact the manufacturer to see if the issue falls under warranty. Could I use the terminology 'stuck pixels' to describe the issue if 'dead pixels' is not the correct term?
@abrob Dead pixels might be a better option.
Other people call them stuck pixels when they are permanently on, be they green, red, blue or white, so perhaps you should as well as it describes the problem better than calling them dead pixels.
It's a moot point as in either case they're not responding when required. If black (dead) they don't turn on, if coloured (stuck) they don't turn off.
Just my view.

@bobsinger Yes, they are always white even on non-white background.
