I have a Cuisinart Toaster Oven Air Fryer TOA-60 and it isn’t responding properly to the mode setting knob. It turns on for some modes but not others. Recently it randomly switched and will turn on for ones it didn’t before and now others don’t work. How can I fix this knob?

Sounds like you need to replace the rotary switch behind that knob. It'll be hard to find, however. I've found some on ebay but that's about it. Might have to contact the manufacturer about a replacement rotary switch. Its almost a $40 switch on eBay.

You can get the switch on Amazon for $15. (August 2024).
But I can't get the knob off to remove old unit.
I have similar problem. The “Function” knob is stuck in one position and won’t turn.
I had the same problem. I took it to the technician, who disassembled it and disconnected the wires from the function switch, but he couldn't find the replacement part. So, I brought it home and got the new switch (FZ31-9E with 11 pins and 7 steps). The problem now is that I don't know how to connect the wires. I asked the technician, and he doesn't remember. Does anyone know where I can find the wiring diagram for this function switch? Or good photos that show how it should be connected?
1pc FZ31-9E 11 pins 7 positions TOA-60 HUA LI LAI FZ31-10 Rotary function switch, I bought it on Ebay 2 years ago for around $7.00 and it works wonderfully well. The hardest thing to do is to take your time when disassembling to replace the switch. There are a few YouTube videos that were helpful and one or two that were a waste of time. It is easy to do, just takes a bit of time with patience.

I have this same problem. It's getting worse now, we have to flip back and forth on the cook knob

I just took mine back to Costco where I got it from and they gave me full refund even though it was almost 2 years old. Also cuisinart has a 3 year warranty on this item so you can also reach out to them

We just had to reach out to Cuisinart's warranty team about this, and they replaced the entire unit with minimal stress.
