Stripped SSD T5 screw
I tried to remove the T5 screw holding the SSD down, and it got stripped instead. I tried several different approaches to remove it: larger screwdriver, Philips screwdriver, higher quality screwdriver, micro screw extractor kit (those did not look like reversible drill bits, so maybe i need to look for something else?), and superglue… nothing worked. I’ve read people recommending Dremel to cut a slit so a flat-head would fit. How is that done? I have a Dremel but it’s a rotary tool?! How do you make a slit with a rotary tool? Any other ideas?

@danj - can you let me know if you think the pliers will work given the layout of the components in the above picture?
Esta é uma boa pergunta?

@Noam Krendel - YES! I've had to do it a few times!
Whats VERY IMPORTANT is not going more than 10 degrees of rotation and you are going at it straight down (not from the side) Think of it this way you are kissing the screws head with the pliers jaws. And think how a clock has the minutes marked off all you want is the distance of one minute moved! Again, all we are trying to do here is break the loctite thread lock seal.
Once the screw moves I would go back to the screwdriver, or if you can't get it to grab a smaller plier should now work.

@danj Thanks! I will try that in addition to the screw extractors!
