charger tip broken off in machine how do I remove?

I’ve done this before on tablets before, but it is a bit touchy. If you have enough jack left, you can often use something like a safety pin and get it out, but you need to have enough jack left to “bite” the damaged part. This is usually a lot easier on laptops since you don’t have jacks that barely exist like a tablet, for example.

Of course if you had a spare jack this wouldn’t be worth the hassle, but most people do not have common parts as spares like that around.
