How do I remove the battery?

There's a big screw with a spring and when I turn it, it goes forward but I can't remove it. There's other screws but it seems it's to completely remove the back, not the battery compartment. It's just one screw and I can't figure out what to do with it so the piece of plastic that covers the battery can “pop off".
