Hi,

Things to try:

a). Connect the charger to the phone and check if the problem still occurs. If not it may be a battery problem

b). Start the phone in safe mode and check if the problem still occurs.

If it doesn’t then a downloaded app may be the cause of the problem. You would need to uninstall each downloaded app, one by one and test the phone in normal mode between each uninstall to see if it operated OK or not. When it does the last downloaded app that was uninstalled was the culprit.

c). Download, install and run a free A/V app - example only and/or an Anti malware app - example only to check that there are no viruses or malware on the phone.

d). If it still occurs after trying the above then perform a factory reset on the phone to determine if it is a software or a hardware problem.

Be aware that a factory reset (aka factory restore or hard reset) will erase all your data and downloaded apps. It will restore the phone to its’ factory default or last system updated condition, so backup the phone to a computer or the cloud before performing the reset. You need to remember what your Google account user name and password for the phone (if any) are as well as you will need them after the phone has been reset

After the backup has been completed using the phone’s backup feature, factory restore the phone using the phone’s factory restore feature.

Once it has been reset to factory default, test if the phone now works OK or not.

If it still has problems then there is a hardware problem.

If it now works OK, using the backup that was made earlier, restore the phone using the phone’s restore feature.

Once the phone has been restored to what it was, test the phone to make sure that it still works OK. If it does then the reset has resolved the problem
