I accidently scratched off a fabricy thing on top of the batter relay (i think its the battery relay) and now when i try to charge the tablet the screen goes dead in about 10 seconds

@hypno that is a foam which helps to protect the connector but it is not necessary and is not related to your stated issues. The connector is coming from your USB flex cable. You did not tell us why you did that or what was going on with your tablet before. If it is not charging it could be related to a bad battery or a bad USB flex cable. You need to give us more detail about why and what is going on with your device.

The tablet used to have a lot of problems such as it just turned off randomly so i watched a video and it said to put tape on the connecter which has wires leading to the battery and it worked but 2 days ago it started turning off again so i peeled off the tape and the foam came off.
I have tried a different cable from samsung itself and it still turns off after 10 seconds so would it be the battery which is causing the problem?
@hypno are you saying you replaced the USB port already by changing the USB Flex? Yes the next step is the battery. After that you know that the issue is related to the motherboard. This of course assumes that you made sure that your charger is working etc.
No i meant i used a different charger but i havent changed the usb flex. Could you tell me where the usb flex is and is it hard to replace it and do you have any idea on the cost? Thanks
@hypno what exact model is your Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. That way we can find the right parts etc. for sure

@hypno this "a fabricy thing on top of the batter relay" is very confusing. You want to go ahead and post some GOOD pictures of what you are looking at, with your question. Adicionar imagens a uma pergunta já existente
