Disconnect the plug from the wall outlet, use an Ohm meter to test the two terminals on the plug, what is your reading on the meter please. If you dont have a reading such as OL(digital meter) or a super high resistance or the needle stays all the way to the left (analog meter) and really does not move, then checking your fuse inside the unit is next.
