My Casio fx-991ES PLUS was dropped and now the display does not light up unless it is under a light source. It has a mini solar panel which I assume it using for power and it has new batteries in it but they do not seem to work. Is there something I can do to fix it?

@madrthanevr could simply be an issue of torn wires/ connectors or something more sinister like an issue with the power management IC on your PCB. We’d need to see what is going on inside your calculator Adicionar imagens a uma pergunta já existente

Thanks @oldturkey03 there was just a disconnected wire. Probably should have checked beforehand. Much appreciated!
My casio MJ-12D is not working after putting in sunlight.....what should i do for this??

Casio can replace the broken screen, they will give you a price before they do the repair, by the time you add shipping to them and shipping back to you, you will be better off just buying a new calculator and keeping this one for spare parts for the next person who wants to buy a motherboard.
