upper component board cable connector replacement?
I shattered the screen on my Ipad 2 (which was otherwise working great!). In conducting the screen replacement of course I tore the flex cable. Ok. Ordered a new cable, tossed the old screen. replaced the flex cable. Whoops, the bottom tab of the flex cable (below the volume buttons has no where to get plugged it. Upon further inspection it looks like maybe I accidentally tossed out the upper component board cable connector (maybe it was stuck to the screen?) Hopefully I didn’t damage the motherboard, but the question are: 1. Anyone know where i can find a replacement and 2. can it be replaced? I can’t find anything online. For more info see
