So I have this device come in the shop today with issues with some keys not typing at times, I did blow out the keys with compressed air and that has seemed to help.

Sometimes keys stick because of a drink spill. Try spraying it with tuner cleaner.

Hit the keyboard with air forcing out dust, work slow and take your time till the key starts to function again.

If the keys keep acting up I will replace the keyboard, I see the keys on eBay as well as the entire top case replacement. Has anyone attempted this repair and did you get the keyboard or the entire top-case?

Done keyboard part only. Very time consuming as you'll need to melt the plastic rivets via soldering iron and remelt it to hold the replacement keyboard in place.
Also need to ensure there is little gap as possible which would indicate a loose area of keyboard due to a rivet need remelting again.
Entire top case would make it easier for repair.
