Mouse and touchpad problems

I have the ASUS ZenBook UX360CAK and problem after last updates of Windows 10 with mouse and touchpad. It behave in totaly strange way. I tried:

1) to update driver and reinstall ATK by sugessted procedure,

2) to eneable and disable Internal pointer in BIOS (that worked but again mouse behave very strange) and here is how:

3) Now I have a problem because mouse dissapear or freeze when touch the screen but appear when press Alt and move the mouse from touchpad! When I touch screen again it appear and work short time but again freeze or dissapear and when I press Alt + mouse or again touch the screen it appear again. Totaly strange and unpredictible!

4) While I write this question several times mouse freeze in space for question description and after pressing Alt it works. Now AT THIS moment it seem that works normally but I dont know why and how long?

I tried to get information on the internet and saw that many users have that problem. Totally strange.

Are you remembering to save your BIOS changes when exiting the BIOS to reboot the computer?

Yes of course https://www.ifixit.com/User/3173558/prop... I did it yesterday and again today. But today I have to try 3 - 4 times before I exit the BIOS and laptop wont to accept it. After third try It was accepted and I check it again recently, and seem to me that works. I notice that tha mouse very often freezes at some point on screen but it works. Is there any solution for that annoying freezing the mouse?

I guess you have already tried updating to the latest version of the BIOS?

v313

@aactech Yes and I check again BIOS (in Sys Info) and that is version UX360CAK.313 from 19/04/2019. Now I see that, on that site from link that you sent to me, they ofer a version 313 (when downloading it is UX360CAKAS.313) from 06/06/2019. I downloaded that file but again something strange happened. WinFlash showed me, when I want to upgrade, that the current BIOS (build date: 19/04/2019) on my laptop is newer than that dowloaded one (from the ASUS site, Release date 06/06/2019, but WinFlash, after unziping and trying to install, show me and says that "new" version" is the version from 19/04/2019 and says that is older then mine on lapotop). I stopped here because I am not sure what to do?

A few questions to clearify things:

Is " UX360CAK" what is printed on the label on the underside of the Zenbook?

Question when you write "mouse" do you mean the Touchpad (hardware), an external mouse (hardware) or the "cursor" (software /what is on screen)?

Is it enabled in the BIOS settings "Internal Pointing Device"

Have you tried using System Restore to go back to before the Win dows 10 update or have you checked if there is a newer update?

On the other hand sometimes running programs like IOBit's "Advanced System Care" and their "DriverBooster" can fix these strange problems.

Flashing the BIOS again is your choice. Some times, rarely, they can get corrupted during a power outage.

You say "WinFlash". What about the "ASUSTek Easy Flash Utility" from the BIOS "Advanced" menu?

Go to settings —> devices —> on the left panel click on Touchpad then scroll down and click on reset touchpad.

If that doesn’t work, try to change some parameters on the same window like finger gestures, scrolling…

Go to start menu then write "device manager" and click on it, go to Human Interface Devices then Asus Precision Touchpad, in the driver tab click on Roll Back Driver, if that doesn't work try to update it with windows update after uninstalling the existing driver, also download CCleaner to delete any remain driver files.

I have a ASUS ZenBook Flip 14 UX461UA, and the latest window updates create strange effects from the touchpad. After discussing the issue with the store, this model is KNOWN by ASUS not to work with the latest windows 10 update. Evidently Microsoft and ASUS blame each other for the problem, meanwhile I’ve got a stuffed laptop that I may as well use as boat anchor, do not buy ASUS Zenbooks!
