Our Sony Bravias picture went white/ ghost like after our kids wii malfunctioned and shut down.

for now I would suggest that you unplug all video input sources (cables box etc. as well as all sound equipment. Then unplug the TV and hold the power button down for a minute or so. Plug the TV back in and connect 1 video source only (preferably a local one like DVD player or similar) Now turn your TV on. Let us know what you get.

Okay so you have a full backlight but pale video. Any chance you can adjust the brightness down? Does that make a difference? If anything I’d start with a new main board followed by a new power board if that does not work.

Tried this, no change. See above photo in edited post please. Thank you for your suggestions.
Tried adjusting brightness and it doesn't change it. What is a reputable place to go for repair near xolumbus, Ohio

Denise McClintock let us know what exact model your bravia is. Could be as simple as requiring a reset to as complicated as a bad LCD.

We powered it off by unplugging and also reset the picture settings. XBR65X800B
