I have had my roomba for about 1 1/2 years. It is significantly quieter than it used to be, and there is no air exhausting from the back vents. It’s still picking up larger debris but does not have much suction. I have cleared out debris from the rollers, filter, bin, and wheels and it didn’t help. Local vacuum repair won’t fix roombas. Any suggestions?

Same thing happening with my 880. Would not pick up lint, just a little sand. After reading on line checked my with my hand and no wind was blowing out of vent. We had a friend that helped us clean everything and determined, we needed a new motor. It is inside and wewould have to buy entire section with filter etc that was $59. He removed 4 screws that allowed him access to the motor and it had lint inside. After he cleaned and vacuumed it out, it would turned freely. Put it back together and suction problem solved.
