Why won’t my dryer dry clothes have tested multiple parts and no clue
I have a Whirpool WED8500DC1 it’s only 4 years old and now it won’t heat. I changed the thermistor and checked the everything with a ohm meter, heater element, thermal fuse and everything else I have no clue what else it could be just need some help

Hi @gsxr1000mann ,
If no power is getting to the heater element and you've checked the thermostat (thermistor?) and the other components in the heating circuit perhaps all that is left is that the control board is not providing the power to the heater.
Can you connect a Voltmeter to the heater element to see if the power is getting there when it should? Assuming that you have proved the wiring to the heater from the board that is.
Be safety aware when you do this as lethal voltages are present.
Just a thought.

Well I double check the wiring from the outlet to the machine and when I test one hot wire to the ground I’m getting 118 volts and then I test the other hot wire to ground I’m getting the same thing but when I test both hot wires I’m not getting nothing it’s a three wire 220 volt shouldnt I be getting 220 when I test both hot lines together ?

Hi @gsxr1000mann ,
I'm not familiar with 120V wiring as where I am it is all 240V standard but where are you measuring the supply, at the machine or at the wall outlet?
If one supply was missing and if you're measuring it at the machine you may be seeing the voltage on one supply wire coming back through the machine on the other supply wire.
Try it at the wall outlet with the machine disconnected and see if you get 120VAC between each hot wire and Neutral and then 240VAC between the two hot wires.
Here's a link that shows it better than I can explain. Scroll to near the bottom to view the circuit detail
