so my mainboard got fried and I ended up buying a newer system. Now I have my 512 gb SSD left with all my old data which I need to access. I heard of some sorts of adapters or pocket cases for mac ssd’s but couldnt find any for the 2015 model. Is it possible to read it without paying professional data recovery services heaps of money?

These can usually be found cheaper on eBay because people do their recovery and then sell the enclosure.
