When the gameboy is turned on there is a white colomn on the right side of the screen. Are they dead pixels or is there a loose connection? The part of the screen lights up just doesn't display game. It's similar to this picture but not as wide.http://i.imgur.com/NrxJWxf.jpg

Hi! This could be the screen ribbon cable or the display itself. I would try unplugging the screen ribbon cable and then plugging it back in. If this doesn’t work, try replacing the screen. Good luck!
