Can the HDMI port be replaced?
Hi, my HDMI port on my Toshiba satellite c55dt-8 is not working properly now after my dog took off running through the cable. Is it possible to replace or repair?

yes it can be replaced by someone that knows what they are doing, by this i mean someone that works at laptops and can solder properly. where abouts are, uk ?

I'm in the US. I work a lot on desktops and have only ever changed ram and hd's in laptops. This laptop's screen is separated now I noticed after the dog knocking it to the floor. Picture is still good but little screws are falling out. Pretty sure the whole thing is jacked now soon enough.
