Water on my laptop, doesn’t power on

So it’s sunday morning and I accidentally spilled water on my keyboard. It wasn’t that much water so I tried to wipe it off and continue using my laptop, I didn’t turn it off and no, I didn’t unplug it (I know it’s stupid). It worked for a few minutes but it turned off after that, and I can’t turn it on at all now.

What can I do?

It just turned on and everything seems to work fine. Do you think I should turn it off and leave it for a few hours?

no. water damage will eventually kill your laptop and it will be harder to repair then. as time goes on, the corrosion keeps increasing until it shorts something. and once that happens, that will be expensive.

Well... Not good!

At this point you're likely going to need to replace some parts like the uppercase and/or logic board. Leaving the system wet corrodes and shorts out components.

You might want to let someone with deeper skills repair your system.
