Low Screen and Upper Screen are Blank
When I turn the power DS lite on, both screens are blank(black screen).Please, show me how to fix my DS lite. Thanks

nhan le try this one first:
Check the battery pack and ensure its charged [LED light on upper right corner should be lit GREEN].
-If AC wall power adapter is being used, ensure both the connector [into DS lite] and wall plug [to outlet] are securely connected.
-Check the battery contacts and clean if necessary using a pencil eraser or lightly scrape contacts until entire surface is shiny.
-Check the placement and orientation of battery pack to ensure its connected securely and properly.

If that does not work, you may have to disassemble your DS lite and check on the cables, connectors and logic board to make sure all connections are seated properly. Good Luck

I just had the same problem, green light, blank screens. Well the way I fixed my DSL was simple. However it's your call as to if you wanna try this method. All I did was pound on both sides. I tapped each side on the butt of my palm and its worked for 6+hours now. Dont beat the crap out of it but try it. Cant break it anymore.

Ok, had this problem. Turn on DS, both screens white. Nothing else.
Tried tapping it as suggested, but then realised the battery was dead, so charged it and turned back on and no luck. Then noticed it still had a cartridge, took that out, reset and presto it works.
So yeah
I tried tapping it against the palm of my hand, and it worked! Hopefully, it can work good enough to where I'll do that every day! Thx, jay!
Tui, BTW, if the green light turns red, plug in the charger quickly. if it's red, it will go back to black, while its working.

I came here looking for a solution, this is what i found
normally when you drop the console, wifi module gets unplugged (that piece besides slot-1 with a little gray foam on it), that causes the console to go black screen when turned on showing green led light
so how do you solve it? just plug it back, push it firmly and there you go... BUT!!
in my case, the console was turned on many times testing it (not mine btw) so the wifi module got damaged. I replaced the wifi module with an old one i had from some DS junk and it worked again.
that's it

It happens to me as well my brother threw it out the window and it fixed it, ITS A MIRACLE!!!!!!

Both screens are black and any sign of life? Do you have power to your unit? Did anything happen to it, like got dropped or anything at all?

mine got drooped in my bag at school and I've charged it and the screens are blank i really need the solution for this soon

Yeah mine too.Fell down.End of the story.Nearly.But if I turn it on the blue light stays on for a few seconds,then it's gone.
