Not charging, but recognizes cable
Hello iFixit forum! I've had great answers before, so I decided to try my luck again. I have this iPhone 6s plus that was given to me because it had a bad LCD. I replaced the screen, and then screen works, but the battery will not charge. I can charge the battery just fine with an external battery charger, and the phone works fine. The phone rechognizes the cable (because when the phone was at the dead battery screen it didn't show that it needed the cable plugged in). What could this be?
Thanks in advance!

I'm having this problem with my iPhone 11 Pro Max....changed the battery it worked fine for about a month then had issues, replaced the battery again it worked for 2-3 days then same issue, everything works fine it recognizes being plugged in but won't charge the battery and act as if the battery is dead and turn off, then it'll turn back on and do it all over again staying on for maybe 3 mins or so at a time......from what iv found out so far is that apple sucks and unless you get your parts replaced by them then they won't let you use your phone that you paid all that money for......after this BS with them I'm strongly considering switching over to android, I prefer apple way more but id like to be able to fix my stuff when things go wrong
