So I got an iPhone 6s plus, the water damage thing has gone off at the top..
I have tried a new battery x4 and charging ports x4...
it says that the phone is charging but the "26%" is just standing on 26%. I know its not the cables fault as I have used it on my own phone and its working..
Could this be a board issue that needs soldering or what?

After battery and charging dock replacement i would say it's the tristar IC (1610A3), but because was liquid damaged a technician needs to look at it, make sure the board is properly cleaned and there a no other shorts or problems that can make the phone to not charge.

I don't do board repairs that why, but the customer agreed, he only bought it for $30 hoping it was an easy fix.

when the phone is water damaged the logic board needs properly cleaned, you will need to take the board out and inspect it for corrosion. there could be corrosion under the metal shields so just looking at the parts around the shields wont help you will need to look under the shields aswell.
