touch id, home, loudskeeper and jack don't works after change battery

hi

i've changed the battery of my iphone 5s.

after the replacement:

- touch id is not available (and home button don't work)

- lightning works fine (i can charge the phone and it's also recognized by itunes)

- bottom loudskeeper don't works

- microphone don't works durin calls but if i active speakerphone it works

- haedphone in jack got the volume extremely low, impossibile to use it

i'm not sure that i've touched nothing on mother board when i'll make the substitution, the first solutionin my head is to substitute lightning connector following the guide because i think that all the things didn't works are connected to this "assembly".

any other solution or check that i can make?

i've also restored the iphone but the problem is the same

Certainly, I would closely inspect the Lightning Flex Assembly for any damage you may have caused during the repair. Did you pry the battery out of the housing or did the adhesive pull tabs work perfectly (see steps 23-26 in this guide)?

i'm a stupid and i have make a "leverage" to disconnect from the adhesive...but i don't remember the exactly points where i pull.

i hope i'm lucky and i haven't broke the mother board...i hope but i'm confident that i used the leverage only in the bottom of the battery, maybe in correspondence of the sim card slot but i'm not sure of that.

i'm waiting the Lightning assembly... i'll update when will came

Don't be so hard on yourself. Making mistakes is how we learn.

I did that on my first few iPhones too. Then I noticed the right way and felt defeated haha. I ripped up a ribbon on a doaner phone. It's how you learn.

More importantly here, when you pried, how did you pry? Did you use the logic board for leverage? You mentioned maybe around the sim area you did. I would look very closely with magnification and under the stickers on the top edge of the motherboard.

There is a possibility that a component or 2 could have been knocked off the board or slightly broken.

Good luck!

@joesipaq Yup, we've all been there!

the problem is that i don't remember where i've done the leverage.

i'm sure that i've done on the bottom of the battery (without a lot of attention) and on the right.

in this zone, in particular, i've little deformed the triangular plastic zone near the sim card slot

moving upward, i'm sure that i've made attention to the leverage but it's possible that i've touched for a while the zone near the sticker of the motherboard but the metallic cage around is undamaged

https://d3nevzfk7ii3be.cloudfront.net/ig...

but it's possibile that the component broken cause the problems that i've descrived?

we don't have to wait a lot for the answer, the assembly lightening is arrived, this evening i'll try the substitution and i'll see.

many thanks for the support
