How do I get the touch screen to work I can touch but does nothing
i can touch the screen to unlock or scroll i get nothing. Any answers?

@vmiller62 sounds like a failed digitizer. You will have to disassemble your tablet and ensure that the ribbon cables are still fully seated. If so, replace the digitizer. If you give us the model number of your tablet we can try and get you more information.
