Screen not working with new Digitizer/LCD

hey guys,

I have an Iphone 3G. The touch screen stopped working. I replaced the LCD/Digitizer, but alas, that did not fix the issue.

So I'm presuming next case - The whole logic board needs replacing?

I have a 3gs here, that I can use for parts (it completely works - apart from the fact that its IMEI blocked).

Can I salvage anything from the 3GS to replace the whatever broken part it is on the 3G to get my 3G working again?

no, the only compatible parts are the headphone jack and the rear case. possibly wifi...

try hard reset or dfu, failing that a pretty good clean of the connection and inspection for damage may solve your problem

you can also use the frame of the 3gs with the home button and ear speaker..but i dont think youll have much luck with that....id try what pollytintop said...hard reset should fix it...

you can also use the frame of the 3gs with the home button and ear speaker..but i dont think youll have much luck with that....id try what pollytintop said...hard reset should fix it
