I have a 2015 macbook Pro with a force touch trackpad, can I purchase a 2014 touchpad without force touch and swap my current one with it? I absolutely hate the force touch trackpad, even when disabled it's stiff and doesn't click.

The interface and mountings are different.
We don't have a 15" teardown but the trackpad is the same as the 13" model. Here's the teardown so you can see its a very big job to even get to it: MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Early 2015 Teardown
